Guided Forest Bathing and Foraging Activities

Time spent immersed in nature is good for us according to science. Join guide Derrick on a daybreak hike broken into two phases. First, participants will be introduced to the physiological and psychological benefits of forest bathing through sensory activities. After a short contemplative prompt mid-hike, participants will be guided in the identification of plants and fungi.

Participants should be prepared to hike 1.5 miles with approximately 200 feet of elevation gain. The pace will be casual, and the duration will be 75-90 minutes.

Weather appropriate clothing, long pants, water, head lamp, and hiking shoes are required. Hiking poles and backpack are optional.

Cost: $35 per person
